Third Annual Dinner: Celebrating the Hope of Haiti

Please join us for dinner, drinks, music, handcrafted local and Haitian art, and the Haitian storytelling art of Krik Krak to benefit the children of Haiti.  Admission $50 per person before October 16, $60 per person after.  $30 of your donation is tax deductible.  RSVP by October 16: jdefrances@haitimarycare.org.

Apple Harvest Festival

Please join us at the Apple Harvest Festival, a fun time for the whole family.  Voted the best of Connecticut’s festivals, the Glastonbury Applefest features live music, 150-plus craft booths, fabulous food, a pie-eating contest, a pie bake-off, amusement rides, pony rides and family entertainment.

 

Haiti Marycare is sponsoring a booth to sell Haitian art including wooden and metal sculptures, oil on canvas paintings, and more!

Art Show & Sale

May 3, 2009, 2 pm - 6 pm

Please be our guest: The Bean Runner Cafe in Peekskill, N.Y. will host a benefit show for Haiti Marycare featuring art from Haiti. All proceeds will be donated directly to Haiti Marycare.

There will be over 40 peices of art work purchased directly from artists and artisans that showcase the scope and range of artistic expression of Haiti.  These beautiful works include wooden and soapstone sculptures, metal sculptures from small to large, and wall hangings that will amaze the viewer.  Oil-on-canvas paintings display the Haitains' use of color and will be an inspiration for your home decorating.
